Dream Pop Paper for "The Paper Players" Weekly Challenge

So, I have recently decided to "create" myself out the creative rut I've been in lately and have found several sketch challenges to participate in.  So, here's the first one:

 

This card uses paper from last year's National Scrapbooking Month from Close to My Heart called "Dream Pop" as well as the May Stamp of the Month "Pinwheel".  (These items are no longer available, but I do still have some of both in my "stash", if anyone is interested in them.)

Teacher gifts!

Tomorrow is Lexi's last day of school, so that means teacher gifts! This cute little container is from Close to My Heart's "My Creations" line. I filled it with chocolates and a Starbucks gift card.

Timberline Masculine Card Workshop - The Rest of the Story

Cute and simple little card made with the Timberline paper packet,, the Timberline WOTG stamp set Timberline assortment. 

The Cricut Artiste cartridge is at it again!  A variation on yesterday's card - with Father's Day coming up, of course want to make sure we have several Father's Day cards in this workshop.  However, I love that the stamp set this came from, Perfect Fit - Dad - lets you substitute "Grandpa" for "Dad".

This card showcases CTMH's shimmer trim in bronze, and the Banner Wishes stamp set, which allows you to substitute the "happy birthday" saying for: "you're the best", "congratulations", "thank you", "it's a celebration!" or "best wishes".  How versatile is that! 

This card is a quick and easy one and made with the Timberline dimensional complements

This is a layering technique card.  After I finished it, it reminded me of my years spent at CSU - Colorado State University - these were our colors!

Another quick and easy card using the Timberline Complements and the "zip strip" from the patterned paper.

Uses the Workshop on the Go stamp set and also the Durable Triangle Studs, great for adding that extra little touch to a card and/or layout.

This card is a modified example of page 50 in the current catalog, using the Camper Crazy stamp set, complements, and dimensional elements.

Timberline Masculine Card Workshop

I have always struggled with making "masculine cards", it's so much easier to use flowers and bright colors and "pretty things" - lol.  So I challenged myself to create a masculine card workshop using CTMH's paper packet called Timberline; and a cutting guide that I found which uses five pieces of cardstock/patterned paper to create 27 cards - yes 27!  So, I am halfway through and here is what I have created thus far.  I'm hoping to finish it up by the end of this week, to have it ready for June - how perfect is that: Father's Day, summer birthdays, camp outs!  It will be awesome!  Can't wait to have you join me in June.

This card is made with the Artiste cartridge to create the "pinwheel/yo-yo", and the Timberline Workshops on the Go Scrapbooking Stamp set.

 

This card is made with the Timberline Complements and with the stamp set called Camper Crazy.

Another card made with the Artiste Cricut cartridge.  I am just totally loving these pinwheel/yo-yo's!

This last one for today is made with the Do Your Best stamp set and is perfect for the "outdoorsy" person in your life.  It also works perfect for all those cub scouts and would create some of the most darling pages.
