Today was my sweet girl's 12th birthday.  These two photos were taken exactly 12 years apart.  When my sweet girl was born, she had a congenital heart disease known as hypoplastic left heart syndrome, and has subsequently undergone numerous heart surgeries and many times was on the brink of leaving her earthly home.  Yet through it all, she has been a strong fighter and has shown us all how to love and laugh.  Her smile and laughter are infectious.  Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!  Mommy love you;)
